its so easy to tell who is being serious over text right?
I mean I gave a few quick examples,so select places (flint michigan is HARDLY the rule dude cmon now) are a problem and that means the whole world is in trouble? bit of a knee jerk wouldnt you say?
Buts its heavily advised not to swim in many water ways in the US due to pollution or drink water from these places, even some beaches. Lets not forget a lot of water is undrinkable in asia, the M.E, etc.
Some places need to be avoided due to chemicals, Cali and the west coast needs to worry about smog from China, etc.
making a rule out of a shit hole town that has imploded due to massive amounts of crime and lack of regulation due to fear of being killed is NOT a good way to make the rule. if it was dallas or something to that effect you MIGHT have a good point. its one of the most dangerous places in america. you think the health folks are just skipping along dying to go there and enforce regulations? get real dude.
Screw the environment what has it ever done for us!? Lets just chop all trees down they're practically free money!
i love these posts, they give me a good chuckle
now, OT:
please to all of the conservatives out there, watch these videos, and learn why we must do things now

It demonstrates what happens if people aren't willing to uphold the legislation, or if it's not there to be upheld in the first place. The legacy pollution in a lot of UK rivers is still so bad, even after decades of cleaning operations that the water is undrinkable and the biodiversity in them is far, far below pre-industrial levels.
you went from provable to speculation very quickly here. the news will tell you every summer not to swim in lakes due to certain amoebae in lakes. the reality is that as of 2011 this is the reality.
not saying you are wrong, just saying perspective please
Back then homes and cars were much more basic. People didnt need air conditioning, bluetooth streaming, heated powered seats, power steering, ABS, etc... All that crap adds up. Also homes didnt have alarm systems, central air, central vacuums, gigantic floorplans, dishwashers, garbage disposals, finished basements, etc.. Same thing. People also didnt insist on having iphones, cable TV, broadband, netflix, dinners at restaurants several nights a week, etc... to waste money they didnt have on
You can still get a small basic home and decent used car ($5000 over 5 years is about $100 per month) and go to community college with federal student loans that dont need paid back until you get a job on minimum wage
And lowering the barrel price gets us gasoline cheaper. Its a great thing!

And any problems we have with water (which I think youre blowing out of proportion) can be easily treated with filters, reverse osmosis, and other technologies. Its isnt going to kill us, and what does it matter if some fish die off?
Yes, but you must realize that a project that aims to bring profits when the barrel is at 100$ (example) will not be profitable when the barrel is at 50$
