    Basic Lore

Dehaka is a primal zerg pack leader from Zerus. He was among the last of the primal zerg pack leaders. Dehaka is bipedal with a large left arm and a small right arm. The small right arm appears to be counterpart for a severed small left arm.

Dehaka lost his large right arm prior to the Swarm's return to Zerus; it was later to be found in the same area where Sarah Kerrigan defeated the other primal pack leaders.

When the Zerg Swarm returned to Zerus, Dehaka initially opted to simply observe the Swarm and Kerrigan. He witnessed the newcomers awaken Zurvan and the primal-infestation of Kerrigan.

Dehaka perceived Kerrigan as the strongest zerg. He and his pack welcomed the new power by allying with the Swarm, believing Kerrigan would lead them to new essence. Dehaka correctly predicted that the other pack leaders would refuse to similarly adapt; the other pack leaders were destroyed by Kerrigan, including Zurvan. Kerrigan confronted Dehaka afterwards, confirming that Dehaka had known that Zurvan would turn on her. He did not deny this—one zerg would grow strong, the other would fall. Dehaka remained with the Swarm.

Honestly, he...doesn't sound that appealing, to me. The drag is kinda cool, but the lack of a mount is really annoying. Okay, he can burrow to a bush every 40 seconds, but the entire rest of the game he's just walking along is pretty ugh.

Gotta agree, that's pretty disappointing IMO.

I like him a lot. Sure the abilities are kind of meh, but he's a warrior hero, they can't have gamebreaking mechanics on top of being virtually indestructible.

The selling point for me is the bush teleporting. You can easily set up some nice ganks and make some nice plays with it. Falstad has always been one my favourite assassins for that reason alone, I'm very pleased to see more heroes with a more global presence (something I'm lacking in this game compared to dota2 with teleports).

    So is he an assassin?

    He's a warrior.

I'm guessing this is the master skin?

Looks like it took inspiration from the Xel'Naga.

I really like his mecha skin. Even more than his normal look. I like how they are going with common "AU" theme for some heroes.

Dehaka looks more like for specialist than Warrior. But in other case, i waited long for him and... Well let's see how he might work in game.

Don't think I'll go for the 15k early acces this time. I really like the idea of Isolation but dislike the lack of a mount. It's really annoying on larger maps and he doesn't get the extra mobility Lunara/Falstad get. Though I'm assuming you'll be able to talent his Z to have lower CD.

    Eh he looks... Ok.

Glad he's a tank and not a bruiser, I'll probably give him a try but his abilities don't grab me immediately. Can't see him replacing Jojo as my go to warrior.

His Drag concept is amazing. I just hope it ends up working out.

Kinda sad one of his ults isn't the ability to summon his little buddy from SC2

An interesting kit for a warrior guy, though I wonder how Isolation is going to play out in team fights.

You tried merge a thread, didn't you Ryme?

I'm laughing, because I know that pain.

Anyway, I'll gladly accept any more tanks that have a grab feature.

Eh? just being "different" doesnt make you a specialist. He doenst come off as a specialist at all, he comes across as a warrior tank.

looking at the talents posted, definitely very tanky. People talk about no mount, but burrow on a tank is immensely useful
