I really don't see how Coulson's team alone will deal with Hive, he's pretty badass. If he can really turn any inhuman, what's stopping him to do the same to Daisy, Lincoln, etc? I hope it won't be some FitzSimmons shennanigan that "solves" the problem.

I think Hive will turn Lincoln. And even then, the inhumans he "turns" keep their own mind so I think it's not a perfect "mind control" or whatever he does.

Guys. The kid in the gel. Had a man that could remotely kill him. He had to maintain his cover. He apparently didn't know who the guy was, so he couldn't just take the kid. When the betrayal went as planned, Malek had his controller man take the kid away. May was able to find and incapacitate him (maybe he died?).

Yea, I'm still a little bitter about that and them making the viewer worry for the away team's safety when Mac called for May to blow the castle up. They were far away from the silly portal room and in the containment chamber. There wasn't ANY correspondence that everyone made it out between there? UGH, TERRIBLE WRITING!

surely if it could do it at the time, why didn't it do it before the old host was burned up, to fight, to avoid dying? The body was dead? So was ward's. No need to get snippy when we can all agree there was some inconsistant writting going on.

In addition to the other comments, there's also the fact that the entire building was collapsing and the "good guys" would've been rushing to GTFO, rather than sitting and watching the portal collapse. As far as they knew, nobody/nothing was following them, anyway, so they'd have no reason to bother.

Perhaps the portal didn't close in mere moments as they were insinuating with Fitz's yells to Coulson, but the moment the portal room got hit, the vibrations would be off and portal gone. Anyway, I'll be holding out for some hand waving explaination when coulson faces off with ward again.
