"Go Ahead nd Shoot Me!"-- Intense Video Shows Militiaman's Final Moments

A new video obtained by The Oregonian shows Oregon militiaman LaVoy Finicum’s final moments before being gunned down by federal agents.

Near the beginning of the footage, Finicum can be heard refusing to exit his vehicle.

“You can go ahead and shoot me!” he shouted at the officers. “Put the laser right there, put the bullet through the head!”

Shawna Cox cell phone video from inside LaVoy Finicum's truck

So what do you think after watching the vid was this a justifiable shooting?

if we use the same standards used to say the recent shootings of blacks by the police have been unjustified this is an unjustified shooting

He was involved in an ongoing crime, he wasnt unarmed and he wasnt coperating. Id say it was justified though i believe it would have been better for his family if he was taking happy pills in a mental institution.

If he didn't point his gun at anybody, I can't see how shooting him was appropriate. Could have shot his wheels, forcing him to get off the car.

The guy was in the middle of a criminal act, was known to be armed, known to say he would go down in a blaze of glory, telling the cops to shoot him, and reaching into his jacket in a gesture that looked like going for a gun.

Shooting him was 100% the right call. You'll note that the people that were with him did not get shot.

Yeah its justifiable... They are armed insurrectionists...

The people recording the video are even armed... You can see the guy in the backseat with a pistol in his hand just after they kill the guy who got out of the car.

    EDIT:

This is just after the guy jumps out of the car and is shot... His passengers are also armed:

And then promptly reached into his jacket.

reached into his jacket? did he do that when he jumped out of the truck? I didn't see that what I saw was his arms raised as he jumped out

Yup, and then he looked around at the people around him, and then reached into his jacket.
