That's just how it is, the plan is for 100 down / 20 up. Not complaining because it's more than I'll ever need even if I start youtubing heavily (for whatever reason :P). This is pretty much the best plan in NZ, bar the extremely isolated areas where gigabit fiber is being rolled out.

Mind you I'm upgrading from ADSL which chugged along at like 6-12mbit with 1mbit upload.

Finally, I high-end phone in a small package: my time has come. It's cheap enough I might buy one of the more expensive (like $1500, not $15,000) watches as an accessory.
There's a couple of things I've wanted to write and playing with "Hey Siri" for the first time today makes me think that maybe there's actually something to it.

Probably inevitable that there'd be some 4" type phone coming from Apple. And with the spec and price that they're selling at it's pretty unbeatable at that size. Is SE supposed to mean small edition?

Rumor has Pascal won't have AC capabilities O.o. From bitandchip so no idea how credible it is, but apparently a dev also noted on it on Anandtech's forum that it's not on par (and his track record is pretty good).

AC only really came up as a "thing to have" in the last year, and if you consider the lead time for developing a GPU it really doesn't surprise me that Pascal doesn't have it.

Yeah, Pascal was pushed back like two or three years I think. Originally Maxwell didn't even exist until 20nm complications occurred.

Looking for a new GPU should I get a 970 or wait for the new GPUs? Honestly a 970 will already be quite overkill for what I play & my resolution, and I found a good deal on a 970 (EVGA SSC). If I'm honest the reason I'm upgrading from my 7950 is for temp/noise (my gpu is the only loud part in my computer) and for increase in performance in some games. So waiting wouldn't really benefit me would it? Not sure what's your opinion?

If you want to buy something right now, I'd buy a 390 instead of the 970. But waiting is better.
