-Chain Bomb is baseline, not a must pick or bust 13 talent.
-Arcane Barrier can be acquired much earlier than 16 if you're smart with globes (certain maps, you could even have it before level 10).
-5% passive Ability Power at level 1 with Fel Infusion.
-Much better Flamestrike damage with good play, let alone a reason to use Flamestrike.
-Burned Flesh does additional 8% max health (!) if it hits 2 or more heroes.
-Gravity Crush combos.
-Twin Spheres combos.
Options man. He has options now. He can't siege better than every Specialist in the game, but his Hero damage early game at least should be much improved. He's much closer to the design Blizzard intended: "A fire mage capable of empowering his Abilities in unique ways and dealing area of effect damage."
Rather than "Click D, click Chain Bomb twice, ???, profit."

And at the guy that thinks Kael is bad; he is flat out broken OP along with Tychus & Illidan from what I've experienced. The damage Kael puts out is absurd and he is much stronger earlier in the game now. Glad they're adding bans because I can almost guarantee that you will never see any of these 3 Heroes in HL after the first day or two. At least until they're nerfed that is.

It's not really a question of numbers, it's more how the character works, this post pretty much sums it up:
1: You now have to choose between barbed shot or unstable poison, which means that you now have to choose between her being worse at camps than she was pre-nerf or her being worse at wave clear and stopping a merc push.
2: You now have to choose between evasive fire and cold embrace, meaning that you either lose your chasedown/kiting talent or your vulnerability debuff (which has been nerfed), either way she's noticeably worse than before.
3: You lose envenom which as lame as it was was useful in teamfights (the fact losing envenom is a bad thing here shows how terrible this rework is).
4: She's gone from having one ultimate that's much better than the other and pretty much mandatory, to having a new ultimate that's appears much better than the other and may end up pretty much mandatory, lol.
Overall they took one of the most well rounded, most synergised, most complete/polished feeling heroes in the game, fixed their only problem (sort of) and ruined them in the process by trashing their talents into a un-synergetic mess.

I mean, are you implying Sylv was in any way shape or form a bad character? She was incredible, too good in fact, that's why they toned her down a bit and made you chose between a couple of her talents.

Lol what, where you on a hiatus since Eternal Conflict or something? Sylvanas has been mediocre at best for the past few patches. The only map were she saw some play was on Infernal Shrines because of her trait and the map objective going really well together.
She needed the talent rework because she had a lot of bad and useless talents, and the ones that were pickable weren't even that impressive and massive power spikes. Now at level 1 and 4 you only have shit/mediocre talents, and all the good talents have been clumped into 16.

Yeah the Sylvanas talent shuffle really left me with a bad taste in my mouth; they all feel so unimpactful and without direction now. Sylvanas was my first love in this game though, so I'm not without bias.

And Sylvanas has always been fantastic, she fell out of the meta just because Zag is better, they didn't do a thing to make her go from strong to weak. It's group think bruh, people just think she does shit damage and can only push. And the Withering Fire range and Dagger CD reduction at 4 are good talents. I agree level one should be better.
Y'all got to make up your mind, was she good and she got nerfed, or bad and this is a buff?
I feel like Illidan changes aren't mentioned enough (though I main Illidan)
To me all the pick-or-die talents (with the exception of shadow shield, never liked that talent) have gone, giving him more interesting options not to mention the huge buffs through atk speed, damage and healing he recieved.
Finally Illidan will be decent, not the monster he used to be with unstoppable and incredible ult range etc. but still pretty damn good

There's a lot of ban worthy heroes at this point, not too sure if they're both going to be perma bans.
Ever since the scaling changes she has been pretty shit. Back when she came out her laning was almost unmatched, but almost every hero that came out ever since has been pretty great at clearing lanes. Her damage also took a lot of hits with the nerfs to Envenom and BFB and the nerf to her ult damage. She does less damage than a lot of heroes and her waveclear power level is something you can find on a lot of heroes as well. At this point she's pretty much only picked for her trait, which means only on Infernal Shrines really.
Regarding 4 talents, the Withering Fire talent and Shadow Dagger talent were level 1 talents before. Usually talents become better and better the higher tier they are, so moving a bunch of level 1 talents to level 4 is pretty bad. Especially considering both of these talents weren't even the preferred level 1 picks. The dagger talent is even worse than before unless you're hitting 2 heroes or more. Withering Fire range lost a lot of popularity to Barbed Shot, which is now at 7 and thus unpickable. Neither of those two talents are level 4 "good" if you ask me, it's just that the new talent is pretty shit and there's nothing else to pick on that tier so you get the illusion that they're good for a level 4 talent. I'd pick Envenom over either of those two talents if it was still in her tree.
She was mediocre at best and became even worse with these changes.
You all do know Sylvanas is a Specialist and not an Assassin, right?
She may have lost some damage, but she retains fantastic wave clear, impossible to escape from and near impossible to gank with her two W's and 18 Q's.

It's cool man, we don't agree on her at all. She has always been a great hero, and I doubt that is likely to change, we'll see though. You are acting though as if her trait is only good on shrines, like huh? It is flat out OP on any map with a pushing objective, so that adds Battlefield and Spiders as well, Shire and Garden to an extent as well. Obvi she was always first pick material on Mines, and she was half the reason they got rid of it lol.
She's great man, you're not the first person to underestimate her, doubt you'll be the last. Though the Cold Embrace nerf is enormous, won't argue that at all.
Plus, the two game breaking Heroics.
