Question regarding lvl 100 gear token missions

    Hello,

at the beginning of WoD I often got garrison missions which rewarded tokens for 615 (Munificent), 630 (Turbulent) and 645 (Grandiose) gear. I then stopped playing for awhile but I am currently again subscribed to level my other characters and such in case I decide to buy Legion. (I regret not buying a shitload of Wow Tokens when they only cost ~40k (EU).)

Anyway, I'm subscribed since about 2 months and have not seen a single such mission on 6 chars. Did they remove those missions? Is there a way to get them to spawn again?

They stop spawning shortly after reaching level 100 or after obtaining a certain item level. I've got 11 characters at level 100 that are all 675 or higher (to trigger the 6.2 rare missions) and haven't seen any mission for 615, 630 or 645 in months. The only ones that do spawn are the 580 pants and the 610 shoulders.

It depends on the ilvl of your char. If you exceed a ilvl650, you won't see them anymore.

Thanks for the answers. Kind of annoying how they are handled, especially since some of the <100 missions still give gear tokens.

Why would you want that gear anyway?

This is not true. Chance for mission to spawn is drastically reduced but it's still there.
Why you think the Net was born? Porn! Porn! Porn!

The weekly raid quest (offered by Muradin and his Horde counterpart) can reward the 645 pieces randomly, along with 655 Formidable tokens. You're much more likely to get a 645 token though. It's a highly RNG way to get what you want, but at least it guarantees you get a piece per week.

My experience with 12 alts the last month definitely disagrees with you.

Thanks, but the question was only related to the missions. I just looked through the bank on one of my alts and saw those plate crazed bomber pieces, and then wondered why I haven't seen a mission for those and the lower ones in ages.

Regarding why I want that. Well, I don't really "want" them, just that they would be more welcomed than xp- or oil-missions.

If you're just concerned about transmog, I'm pretty sure that baleful gear uses all the same models

THe 645 epic token gear doesn't have the same color as the baleful gear. For example, the leather 645 set has red color, while baleful has green.
