Considering there is a new report out that NASA believes it will take only $10 billion to secure a moon base (set up, not maintenance) I think a lot more countries will come to the table. Especially if you consider that private investment could supplant a large portion of the cost.

I'm not sure entirely what you mean. We know for a fact there's other planets, the sun, etc, and those are all in space.
Do you mean you think it's impossible for us to ever actually go out there?

You can literally see them? The sun being the most obvious, while we know the earth revolves around the sun, why we have different seasons, etc. Things that anyone can observe and understand to be true, even if you don't happen to believe things like the moon landing as actually happening.
