    rift guardian has arrived BANG

    the thunder explosion sound when each time rift guardian appears kills my ears. this shit bothers me the most about diablo 3 srsly

    i have effects on 5, music 100, ambient 100 and master 100.
    i want to enjoy music and ambient sounds and eventhough i have set sound effects down to 5 the rift guardian sound is TOO FUCKING LOUD. how can i turn it down ???????????

    Reinstall? Sounds bugged as I don't notice that issue.

    The sound levels in Reaper of Souls have always been all over the place. Someone's job involved normalizing the sound levels accross the music and sound effects, but it seems he didn't bother with half of them.

    That's why "THE RIFT GUARDIAN HAS ARRIVED" is so loud, and why that violin song in rifts/sewers is double the normal volume.

    It's funny, I constantly praised D3 for its sound design and yet I don't think I've ever enabled the sound since early Vanilla.

    What sound card do you have? Some have settings messing with sound normalization levels.
