Honestly, it really depends on the situation and the level of content in question. As far as low level dungeons go the only reason there is to kick someone from the group is if they are going out of the way to sabotage the run for the other 4 people, given that a full BoE w/ enchants geared anything can solo low level dungeons, they'd have to be pushing pretty hard. This is my stance for just about any normal dungeon LFD group.

Heroics at launch are a bit different, but I'd actually take 5 minutes to talk to people or make a suggestion before pushing the button.

LFR? No idea, don't do it.

PUG Normal/Heroic raiding? The only time I'd kick someone that wasn't purposefully trying to sabotage the group is if they were intentionally spreading misinformation to get out of having to perform their role (tanks expecting the raid to move into inferno slice on Gruul so they don't have to move comes to mind, this actually happened), performing way under their ilvl (18k dps at 720?) or deliberately trolling the group (using Aspect of the Pack on Pounding or any other raid wide damage situation).

Mythic Raiding? I'd rather call the raid than deal with PUGs.

I'd probably kick someone for being AFK or fucking around too much and it slowing down the run somehow. I can't even remember the last time that ever happened but it's absolutely happened in the past and kicking people for it is the first and only sensible option. I wouldn't kick someone for being shit in a dungeon because it really doesn't matter.

I basically just kick people if I don't like them because they're whining or talking shit or whatever. If I kicked everyone who isn't as good as me I'd never have a group.
If you are particularly bold, you could use a Shiny Ditto. Do keep in mind though, this will infuriate your opponents due to Ditto's beauty. Please do not use Shiny Ditto. You have been warned.

Well no, it would actually make things slower to do this. Chances are you'll just get some one even worse, very rarely better. That's a question asked from inexperience.

Now if some one was doing such little damage that they might as well not be there anyway? I would kick them for sure just to make a point.

There is no reason I as the tank should be doing 60 percent of the groups damage, but as long as we are progressing its not really relevant. The next 3 dps you find wont be any better.

If you can't do as well as my aggressively mediocre self, something is wrong.

I wouldn't kick someone for being less geared, as long as they were appropriately geared for the instance. And I am generally tolerant of those occasional derp moments we all have, as long as that's all it is. What bugs me is the player who's obviously not trying or has queued without investing any time in learning how to play their toon. And that hardly applies at level 15 as they've maybe had the toon for 1-2 days lol. Really, who cares and kicks in a level 15 dungeon? When Blizz makes them so face-roll?

Things I vote to kick for are more along lines of players DC or going afk for extended time, players queuing for current content without enchants, players who are demonstrating that they have no clue how to play their spec, or - most importantly - for players who are rude and/or bring drama. I don't play games for drama. Too much of that in real life.

it would be pretty sad if someone was worse then me.

Only reason I ever feel the need to kick someone is if they oviously try to sabotage, leech the group or completely ignores the "guidance" I or others give them.
Being new to the game or bad is completely fine, not wanting to learn however is a 100% no go for me... the game isn't hard and only requires a brain fart to be played at the minimum standard.

I don't know if I've ever kicked someone from a non max level 5man since heirlooms and undertuned leveling instances became a thing though... I mean I remember soloing Deadmines as a lvl 15 holy paladin couple years ago, obviouslly full heirloom gear and enchants (and it took time) but since I couldn't lfg queue at that level I just did it by running into the dungeon portal by myself. Funnily enough it turns out to be great xp and I came out at lvl 21 or something.

If I did, I'd have to run everything solo.

I only have people kicked for being AFK for too long or for trolling.

  11. #91
I only kick people for performance if their poor performance is actually holding the group back.

  12. #92
NO unless we wipe because of them.

I hate folks who fly through a dungeon doing mach 10. Why talk shit about players in white and green gear when its clear to see that they are possibly new to the game and have no looms, enchant, or gold (at lvls 15-20ish) Have patience and play your role otherwise shut the hell up and go solo it yourself. Not everyone is pro at this game stop being dickhead.

Well, I'm slowly lvling my retardin now, I had to kick peeps few times, cuz they were constantly complaining about us roflstomping everything, so they had no time to RP T_T

Had no problems w/ naturally lvling people, they usually are quite happy to be carried.

If they are bad to the point that it is detrimental and causing wipes? Yeah.

If they are still doing fine and I'm just ahead of them because I'm better geared/skilled? Nah.

I generally also have a "average" in my head for classes/gear/fight situation. If I'm in a guild raid and someone is under performing. I let them know.

I've kicked people just for looking ugly.

The GM of the guild had a warlock named Lorialee and had a priest alt named Loreléí. Your name just rung a bell of old times years ago

I very rarely try to kick people from groups. Most of the time when someone gets kicked, it's because the dude who initiated the kick is being a jerk and butthurt about something.

  19. #99
I only kick douchebags who see themselves as gods that pulls everything and then blames the healer and/or dps when he or she dies. I also kick people who are AFK alot (espacially when not telling the rest of the group). If you're at least trying to play your class/role decent I don't care.

No, I never vote to kick that kind of people since I've been a newstarter myself and I know how it feels to not be able to do (e.g) dungeons.
