Does the marketing have anything to do with China buying out Legendary?

There wasn't any marketing in the days of LotR. Even the trailers were of suicidal quality.
Like wtf is THIS?

Audiances are vasty different now, people in general are different. Very judgemental and in recent times 'reviews' get a lot of forefront. It wasn't as hard for movies to blow up back then, people mainly don't seem to get up thier ass to watch a vast variety of films unless they are super mainstream or well, comic book movies, let's be real.
PS: When the actual hell are they going to start using different posses and images? STOP FUCKING USING THE SAME IMAGES OVER AND OVER GODDAMMIT.

The scene looks freaking awesome, they just need to stop coming up with shitty one liners for random shit AND STOP REPOSTING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER.
Yeah, the "plastic armor" (which is not plastic, people assume that crap because that's how it seems to them) and glowing eyes will be pivotal reasons for why the movie will bomb, no doubt man.
"I couldn't care less if you don't care"I personally couldn't care less if you care or not about people's complaints, you are irrelevant to me...
You just said that you don't care about someone who don't care. If something looks irrelevant here is this reply.
Precisely my point. I don't even care to judge the good or the bad criticism but it's a matter of fact that Warcraft fans are the most fixated in nitpicking everything that doesn't sit well with their own view of what a Warcraft movie should be about.
P.S. The marketing is stagnating. There's a bloody need of that goddamn second trailer.
I hope the new trailer will show the dwarf shot. Imagine that shot but with the polished CGI we saw in the latest international trailer I think that dwarf will look real in theaters
To be fair a second trailer (or third, however you want to put it) won't make or break the marketing at this point. They already have enough stuff to show in tv spots and a trailer to show before movies in cinema. This is plenty for the general movie audience. More trailers at this point is merely to keep the fan base happy.
While we're on that subject.. What do people mean by looking "cartoonish"? Cartoons by definition are two dimensional drawings, how does that translate in any form to a realistic looking fantasy being? No it won't look like a midget from a real life but neither does it intend to.
Everyone need the second trailer. Internet crowd especially. Youtube is the indicator. When movie trailers come youtube crowd make dozens of reaction videos. When the first trailer for Warcraft movie came out, youtube crowd made reaction videos.
Just two or three reaction videos appeared after all these spots came. These TV-Spots dont attract interest on internet as much as oficial trailers do. Especially since half of these spots werent even posted oficially and the last one, the very best, was forbidden by the Universal.
In other words TV-Spots are good only on the TV, to spread the information amongst the general audience. To make internet crowd satisfied they need to release good (better the great one) traile. Now.

Exaggerated proportions, mostly.
