You can wear whatever the hell you want who cares what people think. Not sure why anyone would think silver jewelry is weird on a guy.

What is the purpose of jewelry? Often I guess it's used to advertise wealth and status. Personally, I have no interest in flaunting my wealth: first, it seems a little vulgar and secondly, a person with little wealth flaunting jewelry is a poseur.

My wedding ring is titanium, which basically looks silver. Pretty good way to go for cheap, durable, and light.
