If anything happens it will be tomorrow, not today and it makes sense the contests are finished before the beta launches.
So either beta tomorrow or next wednesday, or they might even be bold and do beta on a friday like they did in the past.

I'm surprised people are this delusional about believing that the mural isn't Y'shaarj. It isn't 100% confirmed, but the fact that the Klaaxi were aligned with Y'shaarj and the fact that the mural very much resembles the art piece that was just released pretty much shows that it's him. It's everything but confirmed.
As a side note, I feel like I should have probably entered one of these competitions.
