Totally called Hemo's top 3. Maybe my taste is getting better. Maybe I'm ascending to a higher plane.
Put off writing about this cus I’m lazy

I super enjoyed this show, start to finish. Was super comfy along most of it with a really enjoyable set of characters along with a really good setting. The artwork was most of the time really really solid, with some of the artwork at times just being really really well shot (like the angle and viewing of it and such). Both the first and second OP were really catchy and enjoyable, with the first ED being good but the second ED being really just great.
By the end of it you could really tell that it was setting up for a third season/game. There were some untouched plot points like the invading army force people from the tribes, how they went back and were a “threat” yet nothing was heard of them from it. Munechika was shown to be alive but then nothing was shown after that, teasing that she is still there and likely has no clue about what is going down back at the Capital. They teased Kuon having some power behind her all through the show, as she was just more or less strong with no real explanation, especially her dragon roar thing towards the end.
It left things like that out but still felt really complete, it followed one story, Haku, and from waking up in the woods to then ending up leading an army in place of a man who he learned most of what he knew in that world from and respected deeply. You could see Haku change through the show, only a bit at a time, but compare Ep 1 Haku vs Ep 25 and he’s a lot different.
This ended up being a show I just plain loved, I looked forward to it more than everything. Likely I’ll rank this 10/10, as it’s a show I will hands down be able to rewatch, and I barely rewatch anything. I can’t wait to watch the rest of S1, and then I will likely rewatch this again.
Once Hemo is done with Erased I have a feeling that the hammer will fall many more times.

Has anyone actually watched all of AOKANA: Four Rhythm Across the Blue? I watched the first 2 episodes when seasons started but dropped it since then, wondering if worth picking it back up?
P.S.
Is anyone planning to go to this http://www.animenext.org/ June 10-12, 2016 in Atlantic City, NJ!
I am debating going, would be the first event that I attend similar to this... It's around a good time for me where work is slow and college is nonexistent.
