From the Chronicle book - The Nathrezim are a type of Demon originating from light and void energies flowing into the twisting nether.
So it seems they have been demonic from the begining, like Annihilan, Void hounds, Abbysals and Infernals.
But there might be a way to purify them or something.
Just read the chapter "The rise of Demons"
