I'm conflicted.

On one hand I don't think you should be fired for things said on your own time. So, and so does not represent the values of the company etc, etc...

On the other hand, bitch be crazy, and the extreme left has gotten, or tried to get so many people fired, it's hard to feel for her.

If I was posing on cam in jockstraps or knickers someone had sent me, then posted them on Facebook or twitter that was associated with the hospital I work at, I can guarantee you I would get fired faster than I could blink and what's more I would fire myself if that was possible.

I have read it, and majority of her tweets. She might not outright be a pedophile but she's dangerously toeing the line. She wanted to include an option from one of the recent Xenoblade games that let you tweak the titties of a 13 year old girl.

Actually I think everyone should be allowed to speak freely, and any kind of censorship, even of pedophile SJWs, is bad. I prefer to have sexism, racism, pedophilia, etc out in the open, makes it easier to know what's up.

However, the irony in this case is interesting.

I didn't mention anything about downloading games. I'm simply saying with a PS4, it's a case of of pushing an on button, sitting down on the couch and you're good to go.
With a PC, it's pushing the on button, logging into windows then sitting at a suitable desk with your keyboard and mouse infront of you. Not the most inconvenient of things, I agree, but not as convenient as a console is.

Saying someone should get fired for exhibiting utter disregard for their profession means that people want them to burn alive now? You should probably work on your comparative hyperbole. A number of posters have stated that she shouldn't be fired for voicing her opinion no matter how distasteful it is, but pulling that kind of stunt on your company linked twitter is plain moronic and defies rational thought.

I, as many people had sex before the age of 18. I knew full well what I was doing, and I was protected as was she.

I think in this day and age, as people are having sex at younger ages, 18 is likely too old for sexual consent.

How young should it move too? I have no clue, but I had sex at 16, and I was mature enough to handle it properly. 16 is the age of consent if adults are informed and in agreement. Perhaps that should be just the age of personal consent at this point?

Free Speech is great! I can say what is on my mind without legal consequences. However, I can suffer from social consequences.

She's a person with a controversial opinion sure. Did anyone try to imagine where that opinion might spring from? I think she has a point about pedophilia laws as it relates to age of consent in the same jurisdictions. There is a distinct difference between a person sexually interested in pre-pubescent people and people who think young post-pubescent (read teenaged) people are attractive. One is very natural and the other is not. Possessing pornography of either is considered child pornography and they are labeled as pedophiles. I think her point is that people who are post-pubescent are not, sexually speaking, children.

Agree or not with that assessment, but I don't think she deserves to be hung out to dry for that opinion.

Morality is subjective. It varies widely from culture to culture.

It's the way she words things too, it's not just an argument saying "hey, showing a 15-year-old in a bikini and a sexy pose should be okay" it's the specific use of legal terminology "I think it should be okay to sexualize minors" that really makes it creepy. This is someone who has done their homework (which is good) and disregarded it because they want to see sexy children. That's how you can tell a pedo from a person making a reasoned argument.
