Legion Alpha/Beta General Discussion

Orc Fatigue played a part in Highmaul and Blackrock Foundry not doing so well. I mean the concepts aren't bad by default but it wasn't necessarily the best route after SoO.

Favorite Raid of WoD is Hellfire. I loved it more then the other raids. But that's just me.

Mechanically, I feel like Blizzard has fairly perfected their formula for raid design. Not necessarily that all the raids are perfect, but I haven't really heard any resoundingly negative comments on a raid since Dragon Soul. Since Dragon Soul, they've worked on creating larger raids with more unique bosses throughout MoP, then worked on reworking raid size/difficulty and making equally large but less linear raids in WoD. I feel like the progress they've made in MoP and WoD mostly satisfy all of the mechanical/gameplay requirements of a good raid, and as long as they keep that up, then, in my opinion, the biggest deciding factor of the memorability of future raids will be their art/layout design, lore, music, etc.

Meh. As a person who's read every post in both threads I think the WoD thread was better (size isn't important, right?? ). IMHO there's a lot of BS in this one that generally wasn't tolerated in the other. YMMV.

So 2 more raid testing nights with 4 bosses tested in total, i'm so bored with WoD that I almost want to take this as a good sign that Legion is finally moving forward in speed ( if I link the raid test to the rather big build we had this week )

Oh I know, theme wise I think they're pretty good.

Hey didn't I say there was going to be a backlash from people saying the devs should work on legion rather than april fools stuff, even though according to blizzard the devs aren't involved in it (personally I think they had to be somewhat involved, not like it matters).

I believe most Raids are supposed to be overtuned when in testing. It's so they tune it correctly so it's where they want it.
