I was on the fence, but this basically will just make me skip it.

Just cemented my view that Blizzard will always cave in to try to please the biggest number of people possible. Didn't change anything regarding future purchases.
It pretty much lowered the hype for me. I don't think it has anything to do with the specific incident, but i have just been nearly drowned in Overwatch the last couple of weeks. I am proberly still gonna buy it, but i might want to wait some time before playing it, since i have just gotten too much of the game lately.
I think the whole thing is ridiculous, but equally so is cancelling a purchase over such a trivial matter.
The game will still be just as enjoyable.
It reinforced my belief that nerds are the worst people, and it gave me a unique up-close perspective of how basically all people get hung up on the strangest things.
It's kind of funny, but then you realise that the joke is real.
It's funny to me that Jeff Kaplan has been super attentive and open about the design process and everyone loved him to death for it. Then this one thing happens that no one should give two shits about and all of a sudden everyone hates him because it's the fashionable thing to do. I'm still buying the game day one because who gives a shit.
no, that new trailer though... still onlywatch till open beta...
I didn't plan to buy the game to look at Tracer's or anyone else's ass, so it doesn't change much for me in terms of purchasing the game, but it does lessen my opinion of the company overall, might not be playing Blizzard games for long if the trend continues. I want to support a company that has some backbone.
I don't care that it got removed, but the reason it was removed I don't agree with.
Was saving to buy on launch, but my hype wandered to Battleborn in the recent days. Now I'll only buy Overwatch with a black friday discount or something like that. It's not that I wanted Tracer to be a sexual symbol because of that pose - in my opinion, that pose wasn't sexual, and the removal was a interpretation mistake. They removed the pose because it was "sexual", and Tracer couldn't be that. But the pose wasn't that IMO. I can't change that outcome, and I don't agree with their reasoning. Makes my small brain hurt.
My GF in comparsion laughed wonders. She didn't like Overwatch because of the lack of "game modes", and now will probably never buy it. Something to do with Principles. Now I'm the only one of my circle interested in the game :X
I think it changed my understanding of my own posting habits slightly. I always feel like I can contribute at least something to most discussions, but upon clicking on most of the threads related to this whole non-incident I typically end up lost for words at the absurdity of it all.
I can't even bring myself to write anything meaningful to fill out this post. I try, and then my brain just flatlines. I just
I
I can't
it's like throwing a crumb of bread into a flock of pidgeons and watching them tear themselves apart over it
Imo anyone that denies the fact these 2 characters are being oversexualized to promote the game, is nothing but a fool. I still dont see why this would influence your enjoyment of the game unless you're sick pervert.
Either way i have 0 interest in the game, wasnt going to buy before, not doing it now.

I was annoyed but honestly it has no impact on gameplay so it didn't affect whether I buy it or not.
Has no effect on me wanting to purchase the game. It's kind of ridiculous that that is a deciding factor for anyone, and a sad look at the negative side of gamer culture. I get the whole "it's about the principal! Blizzard shouldn't cave to demands." thing...except Blizzard didn't cave, they listened to feedback and made a change they were already discussing.
