Am I the only one who read Lord of the Clans and find it odd that Thrall is "little Moses"? In the book his family gets killed in Alterac Mountains and baby Thrall gets taken by Blackmore and raised as a gladiator. He isnt put in a basket by his moms...
The Frostwolfs split wasnt a biig part of the plot? Them being outcasts and all that... But yeah i guess Doomhamer being Frostwolf made the movie plot alot more complicated to pull off...
I wonder if they inserted the breastfeeding scene where she furiously slaps Durotan for being a pussy. That was a great scene...in the tent.
Oh god, yes, I read that scene yesterday, so much lolz. I doubt it, though. I mean, the context there was that Durotan was planning to go to Orgrim alone and then she got angry. I don't know where or how they could fit this in the movie.
Funny thing is, if Draka listened to him and stayed in Alterac, she would've been alive to raise... Well, certainly not Thrall, let's say Go'el. And he probably wouldn't have liberated the orcs and become warchief. Sort of reminds me of that fact that if the UK had current hereditary laws (firstborn always inherits the throne, regardless of gender), Queen Victoria's first daughter would've become the queen, and she in turn died quite soon thereafter. Her son was Wilhelm II, German Emperor. Would have been at the head of the British Empire as well. We probably wouldn't have had WWI or WWII.

I'm aware the geographical implications don't matter much with movies, but wait, that river's supposed to carry him all the way from southern EK to the shores of... What, Hillsbrad Foothills?
got my tickets booked for the 30th of may @ 20:00! very excited!
"There are no substitutes for violence of action and volume of fire. Move forward and shoot, always forward and shooting. The enemy will choose to fight and die or live and run either way move forward and shoot and he will fear you absolutely."

I'll probably ruin the mood of someone but I had to share this:
It's just...it's hilarious and kinda obvious how people like this are absolutely biased and made their mind about a product merely because it comes from a company that made "a lot of money" out of their most successful franchise, so the movie has to be garbage simply meant to make more money. This childish mindset "companies that make money are evil" is quite pathetic, more so when it comes from a relatively aged man.
The funny thing is... most of the people bashing this movie, spouting nonsense about how nerdy Warcraft is, look like the biggest fucking neckbeard nerds themselves. I've scoured Twitter and YouTube, and the most nerdy-looking people are the one's bashing the film for being CGI-heavy and geeky. Lmao, the irony.

By the way - for a film like Warcraft, they need to really show off the CG magic. While the film may feature amazing story-telling and compelling characters, they can't just put in a few short sequences of dialogue in a trailer and call it a day. For a film of this visual and mythological magnitude, they really need to show action scenes, sword-fighting, more magic and just visually amazing stuff that makes you cheer and go "FUCK YEAH!". The fact that they haven't doesn't bode well, to be honest. The action scenes are either scarce or not that good. Let's hope I'm wrong, though.
Wait what the fuck, Orgrim is a Frostwolf?!
This film is turning into really bad fanfiction, why would they change so much?
Frankly, they aren't changing all that much. Some minor things here or there. Things like Dalaran flying or Karazhan's redesign don't harm anything.
Orgrim being a Frostwolf could benefit the story with the direction they're going, but we'll have to see the film to find out.
Because a movie is two hours long. You can't explain away every little thing. Durotan and Orgrim being BFFs despite being members of clans that are philosophically as separate as they could be would require an explanation, and they couldn't really give a proper one without introducing the Kosh'harg festival thingy, and that's just beyond the scope of this movie. They don't even have time to explain why Draenor is dying, and that's significant as fuck.
