c&c red alert 2 origin

sometime i ago i downloaded free red alert 2 from origin but it just wont work. i get into the game and when i start it crashes.

any way to deal with this ?

Last time I checked it did not work well or at all on windows 10. Just the way it is.

https://cncnet.org/ Has a patch you can install overtop of it I believe that may fix some issues.

Navigate to the Origin Directory in which it is installed, find the ra2.exe executable and right click > properties

In the window that opens go to "compatability" tick the option aabove the box which displays a list of operating systems and choose Windows 7 or Windows XP (SP3) and see if that works.
