Post 4.0, Blizzard didn't return any respect in terms of what WoW was. Past that point, the social game was abandoned. That's what I intend to say when I say there was a lack of respect.Still no clear answer. You said blizz never returned any respect to you. So that must mean you've been having a miserable time all the time.
20% minimum is not small; for a server that is not officially developed, run off of the developers free time, in a small team, with no proprietary tools at their disposal.Sure. People try it for a month or two and a small percent of them stay for years. Is that going strong?

I played on Nostralius a little before stopping, mainly because I didn't want to put months of effort into character(s) that could be easily lost. Just like what happened.
I also had rather meh ping to the server so that wasn't great. It was still a lot of fun though.
If Blizzard released a Classic server I'd come back and pay to play on it.
Until then I'll just keep the retail version uninstalled and watch what happens *shrug*
The most insulting thing about this whole drama is the people who are so full of themselves that they're flat out telling others their opinions are wrong. That they don't actually want to play an older version of the game, or "it's just nostalgia"
SWG and Runescape are the first things that come to mind when I read that tripe. It's not always "just nostalgia"

Bruh, semantics. If you've ever seen me post on here in LITERALLY A TRILLION YEARS, I tend to use hyperbole for the purpose of getting over the notable shit that nobody would otherwise read.Don't say never then.
It's a general mindset. If people want classic legacy servers, it's most likely true that the same people would enjoy a conceptually accurate, but modern iteration. It's not like we're hipsters that desire to experience the same shitty server lag, or want the graphics to get worse.I don't think you speak for all of you.
