Art in 2016: Resembling a misshapen boulder

Reminds me of the guy who puts sharks and cut-in-half cows in formaldehyde tanks.

His name is Damien Hirst and he's a complete tool. Basically runs a warehouse and has people create his art for him.

But he sold a bull shark for 12 million dollars.

Beats "single color on a canvas" and "my own feces in a can". At least this one actually has some backstory and meaning to it. (though I guess the latter does to. It means "Oh my god these idiots will buy anything!")

I read somewhere that Andy Warhol's Cambpell's Soup "art" was stolen from a museum. This crap has been going on for quite a while.

Well, technically anything can be art. Personally, I find these kind of vague, expressionists stuff to be the worst offenders. You can be abstract without being terrible.

Anything done with creative intentions (and even things done without creative intentions) can be art. That doesn't make it good art.
