Why are there so many items on your BMAH?

Not counting, when there was always 8-10 Brawler-invitations on BMAH, the max amount of items I have ever seen, is 4.... Yesterday, there was a single Orange Tabby on my BMAH..

Ashes of Al'ar capped on a dead EU merged server (Saurfang).
It's been a while since I've seen this one appear so I can assume that's why someone capped it. It's the same server which has a Plagueheart's Shoulders/Chest capped not so long time ago.

I have a feeling they are spamming BMAH items way more than in the past. The amount of most expensive TCG pets went from 50 (total EU quantity) to almost 200 in last month.

Yes, it's dupes, and as far as the BMAH goes, it's just rng, sometimes you get 1 useless pet, sometimes you get up to 8 items I think, of which even 2 mounts a day, like rocket + plagued as I've seen happen on my main realm a year ago.

It baffles me, but yeah, in the BMAH price is basically no object.

Someone on my realm buys EVERY. SINGLE. container. No matter how much it is. Most of them are full of junk. I can't even buy one just once for the lolz, this asshole absolutely has to have them all.

There's only so much gold one account can earn even given years. Quite possibly he is shelling out $100 in actual currency for each of those containers.

Silvermoon had 1 tirisfal batling few days ago. That was it. 1 fucking AT pet.

Few months ago we had 3 mounts spawn on a single day: X51, molten core anniversary mount and swift white hawkstrider.
Granted not the rarest mounts in the world, but a decent spawn nonetheless.

X51 is up for me today, along with Dreadnaught chest which is the 5th time it's been up since I got mine. WTB Shoulders/Belt, meh.

3 mounts is definitely a record in my experience, x51 is still owned by less than 1% of the players, other 2 yes, quite common, also now I think about it some weeks ago on quel'thalas we had sha and rocket, sha got instant capped, rocket was capped later in the day for the first time in the realm, usually it went for 750k since it's a low pop.

Now there's like no rocket (red) at all in eu AH, so it really makes sense to instant cap it for 953k and sell it for 1,3 millions, I heard people successfully doing that, can even sell on other realms as long as you find someone who trusts giving you gold first.

And there are 5 rhinos or so in eu AH, so expect that to be instant capped soon as well.

If so, damn, I have never seen a tiger not capped even if it was on a realm I logged as 2nd (so 23.30), yet on realms I don't play on it stays uncapped for 8 mins, I'd make in time even on the last realm I check in that case, but it just doesn't happen on my realms.

Perhaps he hasnt closed and reopened the BMAH window after he put his bid? Auction bids doesnt update in real-time for everyone with the window open. He probably opened, bid wrong, went and killed himself, came back and screenshotted 8 mins later

I use an addon that adds all the gold I have into one lump sum like that. It has nothing to do with one character having that much.

Until Blizz themselves says something about raising the gold cap it's just that much more empty talk among players.

There was nothing in patch notes about gold cap. It was noted in the "undocumented" changes.

So this means they could stealth increase it again, also some people said there are no addons showing the gold like that, so it seems to be really 2,4 mil + cap on alpha atm.
