Ignoring players

Is there any way to completely ignore another player, stopping him from being matchmaked into your team? I know the mute function doesn't work, I had to put up with 2 lousy bastards 2 games in a row, after I muted them in the first game.

Swap regions or swap game modes.

If lag is an issue, then the only way to keep playing and avoid players of the same bracket/region would be to switch game modes. If you're running into them in all pick, you'd have to swap to RD, SD, or etc.

If you're getting these people in ranked, then your only other option is captains mode.

mute players you don't want to play with (unmute ragers/flamers/whatever after games if you don't want to dodge them). when people are loading in, open the player-tab to see if you have muted anyone

i think this behaviour is super obnoxious, but that's the only thing you can do

There's nothing like that in the game because it could be abused. You'd just "ban" "bad players" and you'd never have to play against them. Or other silly tricks such as these.

The best thing to do is mute them, try to play your own game, ignore them.

I know its hard but you see many pro streamers do the same.

Bad enough start and you can see the whole team spamming "Report report hurrdurr" at 8 minutes.
I REALLY hope they don't do this.

I suggest toughening up and finding a way to not take things so seriously or personally.

The #1 worst element of all multi-player games is always and forever going to be the players themselves.

Safe space mentality weakens the mind and soul.

And you can see how Vavle's automated report bullshit system has created a community where its common to be in a game in which 5 people are crying report for straight fucking hour.

Big question is will WoW follow suite with its new bullshit automated silence system, my guess is yes.

What you should do is find yourself a 5 stack, solo dota is worst dota.
