The major issue I've always had with Dark Souls is the combat always feels disjointed and slow. Bloodborne picks up the pace a bit more, and instead of relying on shields, you use rolls and dodging a lot more. Granted, yeah you can dodge in Dark Souls, that goes back to the issue of feeling disjointed and slow, rolling feels more like you're just falling over and happen to curl up into a roll.

But are you wearing like 9 weapons then? If you aren't wearing stupid amounts of armor/weapons you can dodge pretty quickly.

Nope, just a rapier and a shield, with the stupid thing to use miracles with. I'm at like 32.5 weight out of 65 I think? I get that it's quick for the game standards, but it just feels and works better in Bloodborne, because it's even faster.
