Can we call deconstruction a genre? If not, how would it be categorized? :/

Giant bonus points for the portrayal of monsters. It's not the first title to turn them from a bag of walking loot into actual people - perhaps barbaric and of low civilization level but people nonetheless - but Grimgar did a remarkably great job of it. From the first fight, where a goblin was desperately trying to survive a human ambush, to the scene where one of the more intelligent ones was playing chess to pass time, to the kobolds who were farming and working around their homes - those monsters had more character than some shitty shounen protagonists.

Oh, definitely - but it's also a deconstruction of the "gamelike fantasy world" subgenre. What I wanted to ask is whether "deconstruction" is a genre itself, or would it be some different kind of categorization method.
Deconstruction is more of a trait or theme than a genre, I'd say, or at least a "modifier" tacked onto an existing genre. Regardless, you can talk about deconstruction and people will know what you're talking about.
I am taking forever to write this Koe no Katachi review. The hardest part is the good. Not because there is so little of it, but because it is so hard to give proper due. I will write, and then rewrite, and then rewrite again trying to hit just the right tone that both analyzes and respects it at the same time.
Okay, so here's the actual survey.
Anime Chat Thread 2015 + Winter 2016 Survey
If you took the survey that I previously linked that said "Click me", you need to take this one. That was just for fixing this one.
Just found this on facebook
“Snow can only live in the winter. When it nears a fire, it dies. That is its life. It may yearn for summer, but… it can only desire it. In my hand, the snow becomes water, because this is not its world….”“The boundless Heavens and Earth are the final resting place of all living things. Life is like a journey, filled with various scenery, various paths.
db super 39 I thought they said since way back in the freeza? saga goku was just always constantly using kaioken x10
Nah, he stopped using it since the SSJ transformations outclassed it significantly (and it was said that using it during a SSJ would most likely kill him. He says the same thing with SSJB, but figured it'd be better since SSJB has naturally better ki control (which was the problem with using it as a SSJ - too much and it'd kill him from the sudden ki influx, rather than just leaving his body completely trashed).
Even then, according to Goku since it's still such a new technique to him, he needs absolute concentration when beginning it - it's got a 10% success rate, so he says. The other 90% is death, but he's Goku, so he'll be fine.
As an aside, Beerus didn't seem to like it. Seems like he and Vegeta are getting quite close to outclassing him.
db super well yeah that's what they said in the episode. I probably assumed that he constantly used it at one point since I think Krillen was like "goku can still use kaioken!" and piccolo? was like "he's been using it the entire time" without him screaming it everytime he used it. must have been when he was fighting frieza before ssj and I just assumed that's what he did the entire time afterwards
yeh I saw that on reddit a day or two ago, I meant to share it here
