They shit on everything, Carl!
Actually, id beat the shit out of Legendary/Universal. Once again material looks amazing, and once fucking AGAIN it was shat on by idiotic dubstep music and meh editing. Duncan Jones, take my energy. Your movie doesnt deserve such a bad advertising.

I don't know, but I've read a few of their comments, and most of them, being way more dettached from the Warcraft franchise than us, agree that the movie seems like it has potential, but the marketing is risking getting John Carter levels of box office.
So at least we know even some snob critics appreciate the work they've put into making Warcraft a decent, entertaining film.
Latest trailers have left me feeling conflicted about the movie.
I never rode the movie hype and always kept skeptically optimistic. I've watched Duncan's other movies and trust in his ability to tell good character stories, and I trust his vision in the movie. I think a CG fantasy epic will do well overseas as well. But the marketting for this movie is terrible and doesn't seem to know what its audience is or should be, and it irks me to say that I don't have a lot of faith in this movie doing very well with critics and the audience in general.
It'll still make money, but it'll be treated publicly similar to Batman vs Superman. BvS is a financial success ($800m) but panned by critics and fans alike. But where BvS has a ton of recognition, Warcraft is rarely talked about... I think the movie will make much more overseas than it will over here.
When it drops in the DigitalTheater webiste in lossless quality, give me a sign
I'm starting to think it'll be the opposite. It'll do poorly in box office, but critics will praise it's originality and technical achievements.
Our only hope of getting a sequel is word of mouth. The staggered release could create some buzz right before its US release.
The music is one big computer !
Can you hear? Duncan Jones yelling at what they're doing to his movie.
Anyway, after watching it for the 123213th time, I decided that I like the new trailer. It's cool, after all.
The reason for BvS being bad is the plot issues. THe entertainment value is still there though and people likely refused to see reviews/critic scores until it became too loud.
Watch how people will immedeatly go see reviews or critic scores for how bad, BAD movie are and that's where people will get hooked in.
That's why it's good that the movie isn't word wide release and comes out atleast 4 weeks before US in some countries. People will wanna see how bad it went by word of other people, but will be baffled how they're praising it and will wanna see if it's true for themselves.
It's not like Blizzard can do anything. This is all on Universal.
At this point I'll be okay if the movie does "decently" at least. Then a good reception and word of mouth could compensate a far-than-stellar box office result.
Btw, anyone had a problem with Garona's line? Because honestly I had none. She sounded firm and resolute (as she's supposed to be) and surely not a damsel in distress. I really didn't see anything wrong with Paula's acting (this far).
I have to say, the first half of the music was very good, the build up was intense and fantasy-fitting. I just really hoped it led to something that isn't neo-Prodigy and the like.
It's not the first actor that comes to mind when someone says Anduin Lothar, but Fimmel is definitely the right choice for the kind of character that was written for the movie. A snarky veteran who knows better and knows he knows better.
I'm sure it's fine in the context of the movie. But I feel they chose that line for this trailer because there were a few SJWs reacting to the posters.
