This thread is going places...
I realize Jackson is controversial, but he was also the ONLY president to eliminate the national debt, ever. If anyone deserves to have their face on money, it's him.

'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes
All lookouts clapped on Paradise
All souls bound just contrarywise, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!
People still carry cash in the year 2016?!
Glad to see this change. Andrew Jackson was a piece of shit while Harriet Tubman worked to both free and save lives from slavery.
Edit: holy typos batman!

I would prefer it if they took people off currency entirely. They can put animals instead or something else politically neutral.
Nice, a reminder that physical currency still exists.
I have absolutely no idea what's printed on bills here except for the number.
Not really. The national debt has greatly benefitted the US. And the only way Jackson eliminated it (very temporarily, since he didn't actually balance the budget) was because he sold off a bunch of land he obtained by killing or driving off the Native Americans living there who had helped him out in the War of 1812.

NY Times does apparently.

WASHINGTON — The Treasury Department will announce on Wednesday afternoon that Harriet Tubman, an African-American who ferried thousands of slaves to freedom, will replace the slaveholding Andrew Jackson on the center of a new $20 note, according to a Treasury official, while newly popular Alexander Hamilton will remain on the face of the $10 bill.

There's a certain monster on the internet with the word "tub" in it's name, which causes my mind to wander to horrible places when seeing Harriet's last name. I wish it wasn't so, but certain things can never be unseen.
Other than that, if you're going to have people on your money, this isn't a bad choice.
Money is covered by people we don't care about. They need to update the money for the people of today that really matter.
I don't understand why Kayne West isn't on Money, he's told everyone countless times, he's a genius and the voice of a generation.

Its like she is judging me as I turn a $20 into $1s so I can go to the strip club.
