Some people have skin that doesn't like modern razers, only shave I have ever had that didn't feel like garbage was with a straight edge, and I don't have steady enough hands to do that for myself.

Electric shavers do not hurt in the slightest. I am not sure why some people still use old razor method; that hurts, indeed, like hell, and the skin gets all red and dry.

The only experience I have with electric shavers are nose hair trimmers, and those hurt far more than they should.
