Ublock Origins also works via Palemoon too
(I`m using Flyme, no idea if differs with other versions.)

Just had a thought (ouch!).
"Thus, just like you need to give permission to EU websites to access and store your cookies" part of the law. I have never once clicked on Agree, so I wonder, when I first go to a page & the site states "By using this site, you are agreeing to..." are they also breaking the law.
Surely it should ask rather than just doing it & assuming, or does it not install cookies until you click it?
P.S. I wonder how Forbes site is doing since their changes happened.
Websites that have no regard for how badly adware and malware fucks up peoples systems have no right to expect them to remove adblock.
Its one extreme to the next, maybe to begin it was one or two adverts, and that was fine. but as it opens the flood gates to more, and more, and more, and MORE adverts, it makes the websites impossible to load, and defeats the purpose of the site. So because of the extreme nature of so many ads, people to the opposing extreme and cut out all adverts completely, thus making it impossible for the ad revenue to come though.
If websites want people to stop using adblock, they need to come to an agreement for only allowing a few ads to be shown on a website, and thats it.
Unless you have to pay up to 4 digits a mouth to host your service without receiving anything back.
By that point, it's better to have down your service or lower the quality to survive.
The worst thing about many free websites is that they like to use ads feast. Especially video ads without a voice which drain our bandwidth very fast without us noticing.
Because of that, people started using ads block to block all website they visit.
Even website that only show 3~ normal ads got affected by that because most people just used ads block to block everything since it's easier to do that.
TO FIX WOW:1. smaller server sizes & server-only LFG awarding satchels, so elite players help others. 2. "helper builds" with loom powers - talent trees so elite players cast buffs on low level players XP gain, HP/mana, regen, damage, etc. 3. "helper ilvl" scoring how much you help others. 4. observer games like in SC to watch/chat (like twitch but with MORE DETAILS & inside the wow UI) 5. guild leagues to compete with rival guilds for progression (with observer mode).6. jackpot world mobs.
as long as ads are a security risk I'll use adblock and ignore every site that blocks adblock users. fuck Ads.
Looks like Forbes, Wired & other sites that require you to turn off your ad blocker of choice will be getting a little less traffic too now.
"It has come to our attention that many websites such as Forbes and Wired are now requiring users to disable ad blockers to view content. Because Forbes requires users to do this and has then served malware to them we see this as a security risk to you our community. There are also sites such as Wall Street Journal that have implemented pay-walls which we were are also considering banning.
We would like all of your thoughts on whether or not we should allow domains such as Forbes here on /r/technology while they continue to resort to such practices.
Thank you for the input."
Pretty much this. I get that ads are a source of revenue, we should support our favorite sites to keep them going, etc. But there was that story a while back where people were getting malware infections left and right because they turned off ad blockers when Forbes.com asked them to. As long as shit like that continues to happen, I'll continue using ABP and avoiding those sites that refuse to work if you have stuff like ABP enabled.
I don't visit this site on my phone because the page loads in seconds, but sometimes I need to wait 10-15 seconds for ads to load. 90% of my load time is ads, and sometimes they load 20 seconds after I first load the page shifting all of the text dramatically and making me click links that aren't even viewable on the page I tried clicking. It's annoying as all hell.
NY Times is going ad free subs too, when some Redditor lists the idiocy of what they get when they turn adblocker off on normal site...

WHAT THE **** MAN! Okay, some of it seems like it might not be ads or spyware or link hijacking, but the VAST majority of it is definitely one or more of those 3.
I know that the MMO-C webmasters probably aren't doing most of this with malicious intent, but the people who are serving you ads are absolutely infesting your pages with things nobody wants, viglinkz particularly pisses me off as it means I can link one thing and then someone else clicks on it and they get taken to a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WEBSITE based on their ad preferences. WHAT? It's all ridiculous.
Also, what's with all the geo location tracking? You don't need to know where I am AT ALL. Stop that.
In my country, the two biggest print/web new sites have merged. Just waiting for state approval. There's predictions of a monopoly on news in my country and paywalls. I prefer news from my country but if they put up a paywall or even start with that "Here are 13 top celebrities....." shit I'm going to take 2 hours out of my time every day and ring and email and write letters to them. Fuck those dicks.

EDIT: I like the part where several of the links taken directly from your website is being filtered by your website because they might be harmful to click on. Do you see what I mean? For ****s sake! THIS is why we ad-block.
Look, I'll gladly pay to visit a website - I'm a curse premium member after all - but I WILL NOT put up with this stuff.
So that's why this site is to slow on Tablet :S
It has to load 47 Ads.
This is the only site I visit that breaks the 10 blocked scripts mark and it's usually 40ish or more. Fucking ridiculous and having lived the days of Geocities popup browser ad spam and all the rest of the iterations of it I won't ever disable Adblock, Noscript and the like on this page.
