Meh, it's April. Absurd weather is typical for April.

I read about this a few months ago but these are just googled reports.

Apparently the north pole is on its way to Russia.

    From memory:

Climate change weakens the Polar jet stream.
Said PJS used to keep the cold weather in the north.
Weaker PJS means you get undulations of cold and warm air across the northern hemisphere.
Ergo: Really cold weather interchanging with really warm weather.

    -Or some such.

TLDR: Climate change makes for unstable weather, not simple "warmer weather, duh..."

It's snowing so Climate change is a hoax...just like...

I think what's currently happening at the Great Barrier Reef and what happend to the antelopes in Khazakhstan, http://www.livescience.com/52032-sai...f-mystery.html, are better symptoms then some weird weather.

That said I think humanity could do with some culling, and I'm old enough to avoid seeing the worst of it. I predict (even more) mass migration due to draught in my time though.

Worst case scenario I'll get myself a good shopping cart and some canned beans. I allready have a couple of guns.

Everything since the ice age is global warming.

We're in an ice age. An inter-glacial period

Al Gore predicted the North Polar Ice Cap would be completely ice free in seven years, in 2008.

If you think this is evidence of or related to global warming, you have no clue what global warming is.

    Weather =/= climate

No. But it is misleading and derailing. Global Warming in the context discussed specifically refers to Anthropogenic Climate Change, its immediate and long term effects on our societies and the ecology of the environment we are currently reliant on. I'd rather not have our civilization go the way of the Mayans or the Indus Valley Civilization just because we refused to adapt to our changing environment.

Yes, there have been cooling periods as well. Current warming trends are over 10x faster than the fastest in our earth's history. Not accounting for man made factors, we'd actually be cooling now.

Al Gore isn't a scientist. Next?

Once again, rate of change matters.

I haven't worn something warm like a sweater the last 10 years as it never gets cold here anymore It is always between 23c to 30c all year long and I remember having a hard time buying a coat when I had to go to New York as most places do not sell them here.
