Makes sense the Very Hard heroes aren't on rotation that often. The difficulty tag is on those for reason. I fully expect Medivh to have a similar downtime.
You have a point, but it does help get some live results for debugging if needed.
I deviated from my plan of playing HL yesterday and decided to play some Abathur + Rexxar to finish my dailies. After last night's session, I think Abathur is harder than TLV. My teams in QM ended up getting stomped, yes, but I guess I felt more helpless than I did with TLV. I also tried to do some body soaking, with some success but more practice is needed I guess.
I also experimented with a full hat build which did not work out well. So I ended up going back to the standard full locust / nest build.
Medivh might not see a free week often but I do expect to see him on rotation right after the 5/6th week as has been done with most other new heroes. Maybe it may take some time. I mean afterall even Cho'Gall made it to the free rotation.

Agree, both from my own experience and from watching other people in my low-mid MMR region. If you have experience playing WC3 or SC2 and are accustomed to some multi-tasking, TLV are not really hard even when split 2-1.
Aba on the other hand doesn't only require map awareness, but at least some knowledge to predict fights and routes. 95% of all mines dropped by Abas in my games will never go off and you know they will never go off when you see where they are positioned - often behind own minions or on the location of a random skirmish 30 seconds ago.
