Speed (and also the tertiary stats) appears if it differs from the default value.
If you have no speed on your gear it won't appear on the pane, although I am not sure if speed applied by temporary effects or mounts counts.

    mechanical pets.
gnomes can do that from lvl 1, the other races need engineering for it.

If they put that on when in a tank role I'd be 100% content.
Dodge also gets modified. Brewmasters mastery revolves around dodging.

I know that, but what about flesh and blood pets they can tame on the Broken Isles?

At least druids also get Dodge instead of parry from crit(because they don't have parry).

Yes but it is not modified by a static amount, it fluctuates during combat.
Nobody keeps their character pane open to watch their dodge during a combat encounter, nor is there ever any reason to.

Unless they've removed it, dodge was modified by Agility.

Put in a ticket, this is exactly what alpha/beta is for

Ah that is true, I forgot that primary stats sometimes contributed to defensive ones.
I am not sure whether or not that is still the case in Legion.

If that's the case then they just need to display both Dodge and Parry for tanks, and display Speed for any speed buff regardless of if it is from gear or not (this might be how it works already, not sure), and that would make it much better than the previous pane.

Yeah the new panther models look sick as! Making a night elf survival hunter solely because of them.

Just adding back those couple would make it much better than the previous pane.
I didn't check before they removed the old stat sheet without warning and I've been testing other tanks. Initially the thought was that there were going to be mastery breakpoints because of our base dodge amounts changing the number of hits needed to trigger a guaranteed dodge.

honestly that's what I've been saying, can't tell you the last time I looked at any of the missing stats on anything and I play tanks, dps and healers

If we ever get an Addon that can change the character menu or simulate one, I probably won't care. I'm one of those people who meticulously watches their stats when they're going to change in any way (I like to know exactly where I'm sitting during a buff) but hell it's been ten years and the game effectively imploded during WoD so change for change's sake isn't going to kill me.
Soothing Mist:"Healing them for a minor amount every 0.5 sec, until you take any other action."
Jade Serpent Statue: "The statue will also begin casting Soothing Mist on your target. healing for 50% as much as yours. "
    [What's half of minor?]
"Statue casts Soothing Mist at a nearby ally for toddler healing."

  18. #71718
Yeah i too will just get the addon for it but the old char sheet is already there. So to quote Nymrohd here: Would a simple toggle on/off in the menu be too much to ask? I mean its still an rpg. If there is anything i want to know, it´s everything about my character i play-

Oops, I don't know how I quoted your post, meant to quote Nihilan's. You're right though, there's just a lot of unneeded information on the current stats pane that the condensed version improves on.

Id prefer to choose what information i get to see while having it all at my disposal should i want it rather than Blizzard trying to decide for me what i should to be looking at. But ultimately, its their game, they can do whatever they want with it. I will add though that the one stat i am absolutely annoyed at not being able to monitor is run speed. Ive tried checking several times on different specs because i keep forgetting about this new bare bones stat pane.

But lets be honest, theres a lot of us in here right now arguing over this trivial shit that probably wont even be actively subbed anymore a month or two after Legion launches. Were only here now just to pass the time.
