You also have to keep in mind it would have to be someone who agreed to be part of a longshot. So the number of active politicians that would agree to this is likely very small, even if they'd have accepted it post-nomination.

Finding someone willing to jump on a sinking ship had to be tough.

I think he saw the nomination in sight and got excited about the possibility and is now processing some disappointment at missing that goal, but I also think he's absolutely thrilled at how much success his campaign had.

That's why Indiana is so critical.
And Trump's up 8% there last i saw, mind you all of yesterday's polls had Trump doing worse than he did.....

Now sure Cruz theoretically has a chance but given the system as it exists now its mathematically impossible. In a contested convention ANYONE can be nominated. Its pie in the sky toomfollery for people who just cant supress their anti trump rage.

Bingo. Everything they do seems to be an attempt to cause more harm. If they're not poisoning their own constituents for profit they're enshrining their religious dysfunction into law. It's disgusting.

They just want to cut funding, which will not harm PP in any shape way or form.

PP earns quite a profit. They don't need government funding.

To put it in perspective of the last 214 delegates 9 have gone to Kasich, 3 to Cruz and the rest to Trump.
So far Trump has pulled in 40% of the votes. He's got a lot more delegates than that because the rules favor him. But California is not winner take all, like many of the states yesterday, so he's going to have to do a shit ton better than 40% in order to get the delegates he needs there. Indiana is leaning Trump, which is good for him, since that's a large winner take all state.

But while it's looking reasonably good for Trump right now, it's hardly in the bag.

Yup -- which is why Cruz is going this now -- trying to get that last minute bump to pull ahead of Trump.

Is Indiana a winner take all, or is it proportional on the GOP side?

EDIT -- looks like Reeve answered me.

No, they don't earn quite a profit. They're a nonprofit organization. And government funding DOES help them ensure access to services.

It's WTA, which is why it's the most critical state at this point.

Conservative politicians aren't just cutting funding, they're actively shuttering clinics in many areas for various reasons.

California is winner-take-all by Congressional district. Trump won every county in all 5 states last night.

Trumps numbers from yesterday were high 50s to 63% (Rhode Island) it's definitely doable.

Yeah I want to say what he's doing but it's against the forum rules. I'm sure you can figure it out.

If they did, you might want to inform the gov't, since a non profit kinda cant earn a profit.

OK, fair enough. WTA, but partially WTA by district.
