Or you could start understanding that when you got the rewards, it was because of your skills. People who got them long after, got them easily. Isn't that how people seem to think anyway? Why do you need to remove incentives to play WoW more, for some online glory that does not matter one bit?
Old content is very much content, content does not lose the definition if you think it's not challenging enough.
I was about to get pissy, because I worked my ass off for my CM set. But then I saw the shoulders are different, which to me is a big enough change, along with the recolor, to not get cranky.
Well yeah, they paid huge amounts of gold for items that everyone can get now. The ones who actually could do the dungeons by themselves have the achivement of actually doing them to be proud of, something the buyers lack. So that's really not so surprising.
I have 2 legit sets (Paladin and DK).
And I'm totally OK with the way blizzard did these WoD sets. I like that they are some difference on the sets (hunter shoulders, paladins wings, etc.) and the color changes for the few seen are nice (maybe the druid is a little underwhelming).
Best of both world. The sets are back while also maintaining the reward of those who got them during MoP. At least to me can't wait to get the warrior on my warrior and the new magnificent DH set <3
Honestly I would love the CM sets to come back, But to get them it would have to be either a equal challenge or even more difficult.
Like maybe clear Mythic+ Level 10-15 or higher (Just a suggestion/idea) to get the Set & Weapons.
A system that allows you to get them again, but doesn't weaken or disvalue people's effort who got them in MoP.
I don't always hunt things, But when I do, It's because they're things & I'm a Bear.

I've got 5 CM sets on my mains/alts....this is fine by me. Like others said, they look different enough.

I will bear this mantle of burden alone, to give hope to all that even the smallest of individuals can tackle giants.
The sets come from a vendor that sits in your Class Hall. The set pieces individually cost x amount of Order resources to buy. However, there is a catch. A few of the pieces are straight up purchasable, but most have achievements or milestones tied to them before they can be purchased. Some of the achievements and order purchase costs get quite crazy. (One of the milestones for a particular piece is having earned 50,000 Artifact Points.) The more expensive/harder to obtain they are, the higher the piece's ilevel is. IIRC, the ilvl spread ranged from the high 700's to 830 or so.
I havenent looked at the vendor in a few builds though, so dont hold me to the numbers.
BTW the Shaman class hall has the vendor, but currently is not using a recolored MoP CM set. Its recolored Legion quest gear right now. FYI the full 6 piece set bonus is 1,000 agility. Which admittedly, is still subject to change at this point.

And funny how, because of WoW's art aesthetic, changing the color from mostly brown to mostly grey-blue and with the iconic shoulders replaced with some generic spiky shoulders makes the set look completely different. Nobody's going to mistake it for the Hunter CM set at a glance like, say, LFR tiers in MoP or Madness of Deathwing weapons in Cata except for the people looking for a reason to be outraged.
Be seeing you guys on Bloodsail Buccaneers NA!
The recolors are ugly as fuck.
What's up with all the yellow? Fucking Chikita banana challenge mode.
You're getting exactly what you deserve.
Think this is great,
I hope they make recolors of all past tier/PvP sets as rewards for the new transmog system.
Yeah, I agree the outrage is a bit silly but I can understand where it's coming from.
Also it's not really a generic spiky shoulder. It's one of the shoulders from the original set, just mirrored onto the shoulder the bear would normally go on.
And yeah the blue color looks awful compared to the old green and red and brown woodland camo look.

They are not facebook rewards you need to do mythic + in 5 mans.
You're not allowed to discuss conspiracy theories on mmo-champion, which makes me wonder what they're trying to hide.
Exactly this. The huge and animated shoulders are the most striking feature of the old CM sets, these aren't even especially interesting, maybe except pally/priest that have non-generic looking helmets. But other than that these sets are barely even similar on an actual in-game model.
Also, CM sets have fuck all to do with skill. 50k end of MoP boosts indeed.
I really don't give a damn about this "bootleg" version of MoP' CM. The recolor version looks lazy, bland, effortless, bleached, and so damn far from what the original feels. I remember they came up with three alternatives colors for each class. It was previewed on Beta WoD I think. I wonder if one of this are picked from there. But they didn't look this bland at that time afaik.
Off topic, what upset me is, they made WoD CM weapon account wide, but not MoP CM set -_-. Some may argue, most people already bought CM services on multiple characters. Well...no one really force them to do that actually. And it's not like they didn't buy same service on WoD. Yet Blizz still made it so. Or some may argue, that weapon aren't that restricted and as exclusive as the armor set to the classes. Well, blizz can always provide a neutral tokens to be trade on the npc/vendor who provided the sets for the desired classes (characters). Just like how old tier token work to be simple.
