It will be useless in legion 100%. They are gonna do so the activate either stop working, or is so small it does not matter. Also, holy fuck that was weirdly/wrongly written in so many ways.

You just want your item level to be 680 or higher, which is what the early experience is balanced around at the moment.

it'll be "useful" while leveling up to lvl 109, since i assume, like most legendaries, the effect will be nerfed/disabled for lvl 110.

Beyond that...it'll be good for WoD timewalking...whenever that shows up. (maybe MoP timewalking depending how rough the scaling is)

When running TimeWalker dungeons, old Legendaries are actually boss, since your gear scales down to 70/80/85, but keep all abilities (at scaled values)..

Only if they add a Draenor TW. Right now in Timewalking the ring scales down so poorly it's a 1% effect in TBC and Wrath TW and 2% in Cata.

Percent-based effects in Timewalking all scale like garbage.

How do you figure the 715 will be better at WoD TW? The dungeons will (supposedly) scale to level 100, where no item scaling on the ring should happen.

No, it'll scale to green-blue gear level 100, most likely item level 580-600. The legendary ring is going to be a terrible % modifier that low.

It will be interesting to see what they drop the % to in MoP and WoD. I think the ilvl for the dungeons will be 430 and 615 respectively. Myself, I use the Ashen Verdict ring for WotLK and below
