I hate to break it to you but the US is not going to stop policing the world because our allies don't want us to. Who do you think keeps N.Korea and China in check? Our allies in Asia have been asking for more US troops and have infact started beefing up their forces and training with the US a lot more often and on a larger scale.

The US is beefing up its presence in Europe as per request from...Europe. So you see as soon as we started to reduce our forces and pull away we get pulled right back in by the very people screaming for us to "mind our own business".
The future conflict is with China and the Asian theatre. That is what we and our children have to deal with in the decades to come.
