Why do we not connect with uncontacted tribes that we know of?

I was thinking, there are still uncontacted people around the world, living in tribes or small communities, some having maybe not even invented the wheel. Crazy, right?

Yet it seems there are quite a few. Which begs the question, why don't we contact them and show them how stuff evolved. Show them that they can live more than 30-40 years. That they don't have to sit in the cold. That they don't have to die from diseases we've found cures for. Why don't we contact them? Why do we let them live in ignorance without at least showing them that they can live longer, more meaningful lives.

And no, I don't mean build a company skyscraper and hire them in offices, but at least show them how to manufacture actual clothes, give them medical support when they need it, stuff like that. Show them at least some of the things the world has invented and let them make their choice if they want to adapt things and remain as their own communities or join their respective countries in villages or cities working as regular citizens.

Also, I would be very curious to see how tribes would handle progressive politics...saying men and women are 100% the same in every physical and psychological sense, and that you can be whatever you identify as....

From the ones I've seen online they seem to be really aggressive towards outsiders so maybe nobody wants to take the risk of a spear through the throat?

Ive seen a documentary recently about how they want to leave them alone to preserve their ancestry and to just get a general understanding of how people without access to modern day things govern and exist basically... and ontop of that 2 of the tribes they did a super high fly over and they were still being shot at with arrows and other things.

Couple reasons.

one of the bigger one being disease - we have no idea what they have and haven't come into contact with. Which means we take a risk just going near them, let alone if they visited any big city.

a second is some of them aren't "uncontacted" at all - they've been contacted by the outside world, they just want fuck-all to do with it. aggressively, in some cases.

self-destiny.. this one's a bit harder. they do count as countries in many cases [even if it's a mini-country within another, or the way that reservations work within the US], so waltzing in and forcing them to modernize could be seen as an act of war or aggression, depending how people wanted to side that day.

another biggie is that people we "introduce modernity" to tend to not do very well. obesity, poverty, and malnutrition often SKYROCKET, along with other issues like alcoholism.

Actually nobody would hire them. They have 0 skills usefull (to modern corporation and making moneyz), 0 education, nothing. Thy would just become another super poor tribe among the one who can just watch the "modern life" without a way in (watch some south american tribe how it did well, or even australia).

They are way better living their own life. And if one day they are curious they can always make the first contact.

As already mentioned, the big thing is diseases. We could bring with us a ton of diseases that their bodies have not learned to fight. We've actually nearly destroyed some tribes just by coming into contact with them.
