I won't update the spreadsheet with these picks until tomorrow night when round 1 is settled, btw. Especially since after tomorrow night I'll ask everyone to fully complete their picks for the second round.

24 mins until TNT Crew talks. 54 until game.

Spurs just dropped 43 in first quarter to tie the playoff record. I'm feeling pretty good about picking them in 4.

Also I like Drakes song jumpman and I like the part where he says he hits that ginobli with his left hand. It's weird for ginobli to get recognition in a rap song lol but he's the man right now.

Oops it was only a franchise tie. The 43.

    - - - Updated - - -

It's 53-24 right now and I'm paying full attention.

My god the spurs schemes are a thing of fucking beauty.

73-40 halftime lead. It's not for a lack of effort that OKC is losing. OKC looks athletic out there and they can make a few plays, but Spurs are flawless.

    Yeah so about San Antonio...

I hope they calm down and save it for the Finals. (psst let the Thunder win a few please!)

    These games are on early.

Get your GSW- Portland picks in now.

For some reason, some idiot scheduled GSW POR before CLE ATL even though we knew about CLEATL first.

Uhhhh I already picked Spurs in 4 and Cavs in 4.

    I pick:
    GSW in 4.

    - - - Updated - - -

    Second round stats:
11 people playing 2nd round so far. I added everyone's posts to spreadsheet.
1/11 didn't make the picks for GSW-POR yet (Knyx). I just PMed him. He has like 2h 45 mins to make it.

CLE-ATL series: EVERYONE chose Cleveland. No one chose it to go to 7.

GSW-POR series: 9/10 chose GS. Only Itachi chose Portland, in 6. Lol. Everyone chose 5 or 6 except Blueobelisk, who said GS would sweep Portland.

SAS-OKC series: 10/11 chose SAS, except Racthoh, who chose OKC in 7. Everyone else chose SAS in 5 or 6, except Blueobelisk, who said SAS would sweep OKC.

Btw in this round, a correct team is +6 points and a correct record is +3 points. I hope you played accordingly.

    Today's games:
    CHA @ MIA (3-3) 1 PM ABC.
    POR @ GSW (0-0) 3:30 PM ABC.
    IND @ TOR (3-3) 8 PM TNT.

I much rather see Cleveland than these games.

    Miami wins in 7:
    Lots chose Miami.
2 chose Miami in 7. Good job Packers01 and sheffield.

One game left for the first round, and everyone chose Toronto to win.
No matter what happens, -aiko- will come out on top!

Congratulations to -aiko- for winning the first round of our predictions!

He astonishingly picked every team correctly so far! Possibly 7 if Toronto wins. And if Toronto doesn't win it doesn't matter, because everyone else chose Toronto! 3/8 records was enough to seal the deal, too.

I'm rooting for Pacers too. I don't even like the Raptors. Actually, I dislike the Raptors.

Pacers I think I'm obligated to hate since Reggie Miller fucked the 90s Knicks up but w/e they're a cool young team I like competitiveness.

Haha yeah I got kinda lucky there. Without the injuries I'm pretty sure the Clippers would have stolen it.

    Raptors win.
    Everyone chose Raps.
Arqentum, Stommped, bestellen chose them in 7.

Again, congrats to -aiko- for winning with 38 total points and an astonishing correct winner for all 8 series.

You may now pick, for the second round, between TORONTO VS. MIAMI.

Make sure it's in a new post, do NOT edit your old posts!

    TOR - MIA

PMed everyone except myself and Racthoh. Hope you guys don't mind too much. (*cough like I even care cough*)

  14. #674
Toronto in 7 although if the first round is any indication neither team coming out of this matters much.

  15. #675
Hmmmm I feel like the points were in such a way that there wasn't enough opportunities to score differently enough to set yourself out from everyone else. But in the entire first round, everyone chose the same winner for 5 series. Everyone bet on Toronto, Thunder, Spurs, Warriors, and Cavaliers. Not one person tried to do something different.

So the real "wager" was on the outcome of 3 series and the records for those first 5. It's a shame, maybe we should have had the records weigh higher for those 5 series or something. Too late now but hmmmmm. Feels kind of bad lol. I guess -aiko- maximized on the remainder three teams by wagering well.

You may not count # games for me then =_=
Anyway I want ( and predict ) SAS vs CLE finals.

    Repeating same forecast + New:

    CLE in 4
    GSW in 5
    SAS in 4
    MIA in 7
