That is actually gorgeous. Wow!

Everyone is talking about "Lothar's son", did I miss something? I didn't know he had one.
Fan made artwork. However, with Drew Struzan-levels of quality, I think this would
be a perfect Blu Ray steel box cover.

Lore-wise he doesn't, as he's the last of his line. In the movie, it seems he has a
son named Callan who dies to the orcs somewhat because of Medivh.
that would be a pretty powerful motivator going into a second film to...it also explains in that pax east trailer where he's holding his son's shoulder through the lightning (the look on Lothor's face is pretty powerful even in that shot...its like he is unable to stop his son from going or something)
Ugh ugh ugh... I just keep thinking why people expect Warcraft to be bad... a lot of times their reason is being that it is a video game movie... I can totally see why it being a problem, but I personally feel that, from what we've seen so far, the way the movie is being made is just so much off how a normal video game movie would be like.
On another note... I think that a lot of people is seeing Durotan as the main protagonist, with Lothar being more of a support character. I can also see why, but it is mostly because we haven't really seen what the deal with Lothar is yet
I don't think too many people can even tell Durotan or Lothar apart from any other random orc or soldier. If you don't know who these characters are supposed to be, it's hard to tell which ones are important with such fast paced, action focused trailers.
Also, WE know more about this movie than what the trailers show, we've seen interviews, we've seen behind the scenes stuff... Most people have only seen two terrible trailers that give them almost no information about the movie or the characters.
They simply have no reason to be excited for it beyond the CGI and the action, Universal hasn't given them any.
warcraft lore rivals the depth and breadth of lord of the rings lore. theres just this massive universe that I hope we see more and more of. they don't need to do trilogies...they could simply just keep making warcraft films much like how star trek used to be. could you imagine seeing arthas on the big screen? illidan? seeing the other races of azeroth? my god!
I wonder if reviews will be affected when they find outthat the humans don't actually win in this movie. this is definitely the 'empire strikes back' type of scenario and I wonder if that will affect how the average movie goer enjoys it
