I know we all want a new support (I sure do) but Blizzard's last word on the matter was along the lines of "nothing in the pipeline at the moment". Also doubt the abilities Medivh is shown with would be classified as support.

I honestly believe he is not an assassin, they did not show any of his damage abilities, how can he be an assassin then? Where is this magical(hehe) damage coming from? All they have shown us is two ccs and a teleport. There is one ability that kills arthas we know about, but besides that, what will be doing damage?

Remember that was not meant to be the "Hero Preview" video, it only showed skills that have their graphics changed by that skin, not his "core" abilities or his whole kit.

Wasn't trying to imply otherwise. =-) Just couldn't believe I forgot my Murloc. He's my favorite specialist.

Also, Li Li is fairly squishy compared to the other supports. She just survives it easier because of blinds and fast feet.

They were just inconsistent with the -dormu -dormi suffixes. Not really a retcon to say that -dormu isn't always male. Nothing in game suggests Chromie is male.

When I think something is squishy I think "how easy is it to kill X?" Not based on the amount of health. Vikings can be very easy to kill, Murky can have low health, but at his later levels he is super hard to kill, same with Lili. Now KT and Morales are the definition of squishy.

Kinda disappointed that it didn't turn out to be one of the Dragon Aspects after all, but considering that it's Chromie, I suppose I can't complain too much. I do like that Blizzard occasionally throws some more secondary characters in HotS, rather than just focusing on the bigger names from a given franchise.

Medivh is also an unexpected but pleasant surprise. On the flipside, Widowmaker as a Nova skin is also kind of disappointing, but not at all surprising.

On topic I am actually glad they picked Chromie as the first Dragon to appear in Heroes of the Storm if I am not mistaken she's the dragon we've had the most interaction with throughout world of warcraft so she seems like a good choice to me.

What I like is they seem to use HOTS to reimagine, supplement and add heroes.

They prob weren't adding widow maker for a long time but since we have a sniper we get a costume. Alternate skins allow reimagined characters. Medhiv is essential to the Warcraft universe but isn't part of the current game, so we get to see him via HOTS. They have many iconic main characters from Warcraft, but chromie allows them to bring gnomes and dragons to the game at the same time.

they need to release all the aspects together plus deathwing and create a temporary mode where 3 players battle him
