It was kinda meant tongue in cheek. I do tend to avoid pretty much all DLC unless I get it as part of a bundle/collection, if I miss out, I miss out. I ain't forking over more cash than I think it's worth. Especially when you get shit like pre-release DLC.

While I eagerly await the release of Legends of Heroes third chapter in...2017 (*Cry*)....I find myself enjoying JRPGs again. Tales looks fun but is this a standalone game or do you need to have played any others? Searching tales returns a lot of them if I remember correctly from looking at it before.

It's like Final Fantasy. It's a "series", but the games are unrelated.

If you haven't tried Cold Steel yet and own a ps3/vita, dewit. By all accounts it's pretty awesome, and while it's not directly related to Heroes in terms of its story there's some overlap between the two.
