LOL. Only thing that is embarrassing is that comment.
Judging from the trailers and all the interviews I've seen with Duncan Jones and, sometimes, Robert Kazinsky everything is looking to be going in exactly the direction I wanted it to go. The look and feel of Warcraft is poised to be translated to the cinematic format, and anything other than that would have been a disappointment. They chose to tell the story of Warcraft: Orcs & humans, anything else would have been a disappointment. They have a director attached who has played and feel passionately about the games and who wants to stay true to the story told in them and who is interested in staying a part of this should this film be successful. Anything else would have been a cause for concern. While his list of merits going in to this isn't long, the few things he has made has been met with critical acclaim. I am very optimistic about this movie, and the prospects of Duncan Jones starting off this movie franchise with a trilogy that will have set the tone of the Warcraft Cinematic Universe just right so that future directors who don't have the same connection with the franchise will know what he is expected to deliver. I couldn't be more happy at this point. Now all that awaits is going to see the movie extremely hyped and hopeful that it will turn out to be good!
