the Doomhammer appearance has been retconned over the years. In its first appearance in the Warcraft 2 manual it was very different. (it looked like an unholy cross between hammer, spear and butchering knife...)

More proof that wod was a fucking terrible idea. Now they've got to alienate and piss off one group, and you just know it wont be the idiot movegoers comming in fresh to fanservice. Who could be scared off, no its the long time fans who'll get shafted since addiction will keep them playing

Lots of Orcs ride wolves. You mostly see other Clans riding black or brown wolves. But only the Frostwolf Clan rides frostwolves. They're a different breed that can survive the cold climate, they can easily be spotted as being white/grey.

What do you guys think of this? I always thought the friendship between Durotan and Orgrim was that much more interesting because they were of different clans.
Weren't we already told Orgrim would be Frostwolf in the movie back before even the trailer released? I remember reading about it with the release of the first few images of Orgrim.

It makes it easier to understand why Durotan and Orgrim are friends. But it does remove some the unique flavour of a friendship between members of different Clans. And from what we've seen Orgrim doesn't kill Blackhand, Lothar does. So Orgrim doesn't take over the Warchief role from Blackhand, but he probably gains it in a different way, by leading the Horde through the idealistic view of Durotan. Which makes movie version of Orgrim more of a good guy than the game Orgrim.

I think that's the minor change that they wanted to achieve and making Orgrim a Frostwolf was the result.
