The crow is really cool, but Medivh's picture doesn't mesh very well with it.

@ProSyndicate I watched it Friday last week blew away my expectations
Pretty sure Lothar soloing Blackhand with one shot.r if it wasn't for particular fight scene.
When regular viewers who are clearly casual(basicly not us) (World of Warcraft movie, etc etc) REALLY like it, that's cool.
Dude has 2mil followers, so hes also no joke :P
And yeah @Harbour, probably.

There's no retcon because it isn't canon to the game. Also if you can't seperate the two and see what they do in the movie, I highly suggest you don't go see it since you're probably going to be sitting through torture.
I'm also not sure where you got that would be the last scene.
This is awesome! Let us hope the reviewers are just as happy with it!
I'm curious. How many people who aren't lets say exactly happy with Blizzard right due to reasons (or in particular recent reasons), would go through the trouble of signing up multiple times on places like Rottentomatoes, etc, to drown the film. I'm gonna be completely honest, I have a feeling that's something that will also happen.
So for the cinema I am going to, they have told us why they aren't taking pre-booking earlier than the weekend before release: they only do that for big releases like Harry Potter, Batman like.
I am just sitting here like... so a movie that has been 10 years underway and has taken 3 years to capture and preproduce isn't considered a big release? XD
We fucken did it reddit
the curse has been broken
I think he's referring to Gul'dan vs Durotan scene, when he'll use magic to win I guess.
You can't exactly blame them, the marketing has been pretty low and the hype non-existent among non-fans. Luckily I can book at my cinema but thats the same for all films. Warcraft was so far down the list though you really had to hunt for it. There were like, ten seats booked in a 80 seat cinema. I live in quite a big town too. It just seems like no one cares or no one knows it exists.
My only hope is that its a sleeper hit, and word of mouth on the internet gets people going after release. We had scenario similar with Avatar, where the cinema extended the viewing time for a few extra weeks because of the late demand.
Let's hope that's the first of many good impressions.
The fight in the novelization was actually very tame with the magic. Mainly lots of running around the golem and trying to stop a Sargeras transforming Medivh.
I think it's referring to Lothar v Blackhand. I can see how such a fight is seen as lackluster and I agree if it's a oneshot. But as Duncan replied he will discuss it when the movie comes out.
