Either way I just happened to get this video recommended to me on YouTube and it was hilarious to see the downvotes.

Because people wanted them to do something like a World War game again or some shit, and they didn't, again. Battlefield took it upon themselves and that's why it has over a million likes.

I disliked it because I'm fed up with all of this futuristic crap and that's not what CoD is all about. I also disliked it because of the fact that you have to buy the legacy edition just to play cod 4.

The reason for all the dislikes is a few of things, sure there's crowd who are doing it just cause it's the "cool" thing to do, but there is also a completely legitimate reason for it. It's the forced bundling of Infinite Warfare with the CoD 4 Remaster with the bundle being the absolute only way to get the Remaster. It's a completely underhanded business tactic to attempt to cover what is most likely a sub-par games sales by putting it with something that they know would absolutely sell and even overshadow many of their previous game titles. This is probably the only CoD game that i'll probably boycott entirely due to this scumbag move.

Because that and Battlefield made the fucking FPS genre stale as fuck. CoD is by far the worst when it comes to milking people. Although game of the year 2015 for that shit was Battlefront.

Basically they told me I was stupid for wanting the new Battlefront to be similar to the old ones, and when more details came out (4 maps, AT-ATs on rails, etc.) and I warned them that it was looking really bad they called me a shill.

If you don't like action porn then you don't like it but nothing in the trailer looks off for CoD game.

It's weird for me too. Maybe it's because I'm not the core demographic, but I can't avoid to feel interested in this new version. The whole story might be ridiculous but going to space and all around the solar system (I understood that you travel to different planets) sounds kinda awesome. Problem is that most probably will play like every other CoD and the theme will go to waste.

Oh, and yes, the whole "pre order to get CoD 4 remastered" is a dick move.

I don't remember Battlefields making the FPS genre stale outside of perhaps the setting which now is getting changed. Unlike CoD which is a plain twitch-shooter Battlefield always had far more flesh around it's bones with multilayered systems working together and some neat features like actual bullet-drop and travel time over distance where-as true to it's twitch-shooting roots CoD is plain hitscan game.

This is comin from someone who doesnt care much about CoD yet has played almost every one of them for at least a few hours:

-The futuristic setting could bring interesting stuff to the table, same as the ww1 steampunk setting of battlefield, the thing being that, in order to keep me interesting they have to add new stuff to old settings just like the new bf, if you're gonna release the game with a world one setting then make something interesting out of it.

-The big red fucking nope to the new game is the "pre order 80 bucks" deal for CoD4 remaster, fuck them for that, royaly, i'll side with origin because EVEN IF i join in late into battlefield i know for a fact that the price of the game will drop substantially in the upcoming years without affecting its playerbase, whereas in CoD you RARELY see any sales at all on pc and EVEN IF they do them you'll be hard locked in a ton of overpriced dlc (same could be said about bf1, thing is i wont be paying 60$ 2 years after the game release).
