    I woke up and saw the note on MMO-C front page about invites going out. I checked my browser and found that "Alpha: Legion" was in the list and available for install. I thought, "Huh? Wonder how long that's been there... Oh well, must be a bug or something" I never received an email from Blizzard about an invite. But after reading the comments here, it appears this means I'm in for beta.

    So exciting! I've been playing Blizzard titles since the original Warcraft RTS, and have played WoW since summer 2005. This is the first closed beta invite I've got for WoW, and probably the first beta invite I've ever received for any Blizzard title.

    Saw this http://i.imgur.com/Ffq58i8.png and opened my own launcher over it, and the downloading bar was right under where it would be on my launcher so I had a heart attack thinking I got it.
