Icy Veins had a contest where you posted in a thread, and they were giving out 200 beta invites; they had this up about a month ago, with the caveat that they had no idea when the beta would start and so forth; when I last checked there were over 8000 replies to that thread, but I haven't looked at it in a long time. I was lucky and got invited in the 1st wave yesterday. Good luck

I would guess this would be decreased chance, since you are clearly a loyal customer and they have no marketing gain by inviting you.

If you slip Blizzard a few dollars under the table i'm sure they'll make an exception. They're only human.

As far as I know, is completely random.

Same thing with Overwatch beta, on the Brazilians forums there was a lot of people without the hardware to even play the game. Intel HD Graphics 3000 and so on.

Yes. You should also have a "Beta: Legion" or an "Alpha: Legion" option in your Battle.net launcher.

Own D3 + Xpac
SC2 + 0 Xpacs
Never purchased anything from HotS or Hearthstone with real money

But I haz beta. Random invite is random invite. People just need to accept that for what it is.

Wrong. I own D3 and SC2 but that's it. I feel like if anything the fact that I played the crap out of the Overwatch open beta would have weighed more in my favor but I am 99.9999999% sure it is totally random.

My GF and I both got in

Both have token subscriptions (and have had token sub since token release 4/15)
Both have D3 + expansion (original D3 was free with the Annual Pass)
Neither of us has ever touched SC2 or Hearthstone or HoTS

So according to your criteria, we only got bonus points for D3 related stuff...lol

Oh for God sake, the Beta is down till 2pm PST / 5pm EST / 11pm CET, this has been posted like 600 times in the last 24 hours and is all over the front page including blue posts and a blog post about Beta that went up last night.
