Who searches for drawn/animated porn on a website like Pornhub? I get that they also made a show out of Minecraft and MLP earlier but the sheer volume of people using Pornhub as their go to for these searches always boggles my mind more than simply the act of looking for it in the first place. I'd expect all these "hardcore gamers" to know that Pornhub isn't exactly built around what they are looking for. They'd probably have better luck typing it in at Toys'R'us.com

Look at the first graph, the one that says there has been an 817% increase? It's on a 1-10 scale. Daily searches went from ~2 to ~9. That is your "out of control" increase. Not 20,000 to 90,000. Not 200-900. 2 to 9. That's it. It's virtually nothing.

All the other graphs are absolutely useless since they only numerate one axis. It could be on a scale of 1-10 (or less) or 1-1,000,000. We'll never know.

I've been a gamer for almost 30 years now, but I've literally never searched for game porn / cartoon porn / whatever. I had a girlfriend once who admitted she enjoyed Disney porn....that was mind-blowing to me.

I'm not sure why you find that odd in the slightest. Would it make more sense if they had never heard of or seen the character and somehow made the decision to fap to this character they were unaware of?

I fully believe that many of them are legitimate interest in getting off to the characters. I think you're underestimating how often people, especially adolescents are playing video games and how that correlates with what they decide to get off to. You can play video games a lot and not have that inclination of course, but you could just as easily decide to jerk off to them as you do to anything else.
