Its more than one poll. Here is another one by a different organization saying exactly the same.

Everybody wants to believe they are the 1% of people who actually change their opinions on political issues when presented with contrary evidence, but it's almost never true. Honestly I think you just wanted to make an oh-so-witty crack about "safe spaces."

Obama was speaking against silencing people. Listening to opposing views does not mean doing everything they say.

Lol. There's the ABC News/Washington Post Poll that showed it. There's the CNN/ORC Poll that showed it. No one you demonized and continue to demonize has openly or not openly stated that they support any country you claim "advents" that United States needs to be destroyed. You are simply making up shit to attack your opponent.

I support making peace with our enemies so that they don't grow into dangerous enemies. I support having some actual control over Iran's nuclear program instead of just waiting for them to develop the tech for nuclear bombs, which they would do regardless. I support recognizing that the best way to defuse the threat of Iran is to get the people of Iran on our side, which will never happen so long as we're using an embargo to cause the people of Iran to suffer while the leadership of Iran enjoy lavish pleasures. I support an attempt to develop allies in the middle east that can stand as stable bulwarks against Islamic extremism that tends to foment in unstable areas.

And Houston is a rather large blue dot. As are San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas.

I understand your intent with the post you made, but it's factually false. In the GOP platform it states opposition to gay marriage, so while it is also a religious position it is also, by definition, a right wing one, at least a GOP one anyway.

Austin is, San Antonio--a little, Dallas, not so much.

You support the impossible. As long as the religious leaders want America destroyed, the people will not support America. EVER. You got pipe dreams that will never be realized. But you probably spend your day posting here over and over in between reading misleading internet articles.

A US Republican Party one, yes, but it is based on religious ideals not right wing ideals. Even in the US you can be right wing and not support the Republican Party.

It was certainly impossible while that embargo stayed in place. But the Iranian people are not the same as the Iranian government.

And yeah, Dallas is kind of purple, but it did vote Obama. Houston proper is very blue, though the far outside suburbs/exurbs of Houston are red.

Last Dallas was deep red was in 1988. Since then it's been pretty much purple or blue (08, 12)

    I looked it up.

Yes, that's true. Although, unfortunately, a voice that is conservative but doesn't support the GOP is going to get lost. Part of the issue with a 2 party system.

I just mainly wanted to highlight that the GOP is, in fact, an anti-gay political group given the increasing claims I've seen to the contrary.

The centre right/right wing moderates, or whatever you want to call them, will just drift to the Democrats, if they haven't already.

People who are more concerned about social issues but are conservative on economic ones will anyway.

I really do think the social conservatism is what is killing the GOP. I don't think their economic policies are viable, but they aren't offensive.

No, they supported Nuclear Disarmament and spreading STD's instead, rampant drug use and fighting "the man". Every generation has it's own batshit issues.
